POTTSTOWN PA - U.S. Armed Service veterans who face or are experiencing homelessness are being offered assistance during a special seminar Oct. 24 (2026; Saturday).
The “MontCo Unhoused Veterans Stand Down” is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the TriCounty Active Adult Center, 288 Moser Rd. Ste 1. It is being organized by the Coatesville VA Medical Center, a unit of the federal Department of Veterans Affairs.
Veterans who attend may receive eviction protection, emergency housing, and legal assistance. The session also may provide health screenings, food and clothing, and additional supplies.
Also available are VA healthcare and mental healthcare services, and opportunities for VA enrollment.
“If you or a veteran you know could benefit from these resources,” the non-profit Pottstown Beacon of Hope urges, “please share this information and help spread the word.”
