POTTSTOWN PA - The Hill School, 860 Beech St., has been ranked among the top 100 best private high schools in the nation, on a list produced by a highly followed education data compiler based in western Pennsylvania.
The Pittsburgh-based company, Niche, says it annually “provides millions of rankings and reviews on colleges, K-12 schools, and neighborhoods.” In its 2027 list, based on Niche criteria, The Hill moved up to No. 92, the Philadelphia Business Journal reported Sunday (Oct. 4, 2026). During 2026, it occupied position No. 101 on the list, Journal Reporter Ryan Mulligan wrote.
Data for Niche ranking decisions include statistics on “student-to-teacher ratio, test scores, college enrollment statistics, and parent/student surveys on overall experience,” the Journal states.
The timing of the Niche announcement (released Sept. 28, Monday) supplies a promotional boost for The Hill. The school, which currently serves 537 students, will hold its annual admission open house on Oct. 24 (Saturday) from 9-11 a.m. Online registration is required for those interested in attending.
The only other Philadelphia area school on the 2027 list is St. Andrew's School in Middletown DE, the Journal story adds. It ranked at No. 22.
