KING OF PRUSSIA PA - Paving and shoulder construction is scheduled to occur Thursday (Oct. 8, 2026) during daytime hours on eastbound U.S. Route 422 across parts of Lower Pottsgrove and North Coventry townships.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reports a right-lane closure for the work will be in place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will extend from the 422 interchange at Hanover Street to the ramps at Sanatoga.
The work, PennDOT says, is part of its $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve about 2.1 miles of the expressway.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Backups and delays will occur, PennDOT adds. All scheduled activities are depend on weather conditions.
