Aspen Dental Assists Veterans Nov. 7 in Two Area Offices

WYOMISSING PA - Two separate offices of Aspen Dental that operate in Berks and Chester counties are offering free dental care  Nov. 7 (Saturday) to U.S. Armed Forces veterans in Pennsylvania, the company says.

The offices are located in Wyomissing PA (Berks), at 2733 Papermill Rd.; and in Parkesburg PA (Chester), at 300 Nova Way. Advance registration is required, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The number of available appointments may be limited.

Registration is available online, or by calling 844-277-3646.

The Aspen Dental offices involved are observing a company tradition that began in 2014, its website reports. Since then, more than 30,000 veterans have received more than 21,000 hours of dental care, with an estimated value of $28 million, it adds.

Participating dentists at the two offices will focus “on treating the most urgent dental needs of each patient, following a limited exam and prescribed X-rays." Care provided from results of the exams may include extraction, basic cleaning, or denture repair.

The company says its “first priority is to get patients out of pain, and to make them aware of what other dental needs they may have.” They then could be connected with other free or low-cost resources for community dental care.
