Scheuren Hosts 25th Anniversary 9-11 Remembrance Event Friday

HARLEYSVILLE PA - An event to acknowledge the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the nation and Pennsylvania is scheduled for Friday (Sept. 11, 2026) in Harleysville.

The event is being hosted by state 147th House District Rep. Donna Scheuren. It will be held from 8:15-9:30 a.m. at the Harleysville Community Fire Company, 274 Kulp Rd. Also, it is free to attend and open to the public; advance online reservations are requested.

Members of the color guard of Boyertown High School’s Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps will present the flags. Additionally, members of the Souderton Area High School Choir will perform during the ceremony.

This event, Scheuren adds, is intended to honor the victims of that day, as well as “the brave first responders of our community.”

Within the 147th District, Scheuren represents residents of Upper Pottsgrove, Douglass, New Hanover, Upper Frederick, Lower Frederick, Upper Salford, Lower Salford, and Franconia townships.
