SCHWENKSVILLE PA - Schwenksville officials are hoping for a sizable turn-out of volunteer help to ensure success of a clean-up day at the borough’s Meadow Park, 300 Main St. It’s been scheduled for April 26 (Saturday) from 9-11 a.m.
The park is located behind the Schwenksville Borough Hall and Community Center, between the Perkiomen Trail and Perkiomen Creek. It is regularly a spot where borough residents can enjoy family gatherings, playground time for kids, a rest from walking the trail, and occasional music concerts and other performances.
Borough Manager John Toner, in the monthly newsletter issued Friday (March 21), says its “volunteers are welcomed and appreciated ... in keeping Meadow Park beautiful!”
