Lower Frederick Plans Street Sweeping March 24-28

LOWER FREDERICK PA - Routine street sweeping of Lower Frederick Township streets by its public works department is scheduled for Monday through Friday (March 24-28, 2025), the township announced. The work may create parking restrictions and delays, it says. The effort will begin in Spring Mount, it adds.

“Residents must avoid parking on streets“ all five days between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.,” it reports. "No parking" signs will be posted in curbed areas. Parked vehicles will be towed if required, it warns. Additionally, drivers are cautioned to “allow extra time when traveling through work areas because slowdowns (may) occur.”

Questions about or concerns with the cleaning should be addressed to township Roadmaster Tom Manning by e-mail to tmanning@lowerfrederick.org.

Utility Line Work Also Scheduled

Utility line work is scheduled to occur March 24 (Monday) on Spring Mount Road between the Lower Frederick Municipal Building and the Lower Frederick Fire Company firehouse.

Lane restrictions are likely, the township says. Drivers are asked to allot extra time for travels though the work area.
